The 2023 West Johnston Women's Tennis team will be returning 7 of 10 players from last years team including 4 of the top 6 players. We have added 3 new players, 2 basketball players and 1 former volleyball player to the roster to fill out a solid group of 10 players.
The team finished (8-7) overall last season and (8-6) in the conference and we hope to build on that success this season. With the returning 7 players hard work during the offseason, our 3 new players very athletic and eager to learn, I feel that we should be better than last seasons team who finished 4th in the conference.
As a team, we have lofty goals this season and as the new coach at West Johnston, I am hoping to bring out the best in all of our players. I previously coached the Harnett Central Women's Tennis Teams for the past 4 years and completed an (18-5) record last season before moving over to coach at West Johnston this summer!
